Grant Announcement

People First of Ohio received only 1 of the 3 grants that submitted to the Ohio DD Council.  We received the Advocacy Grant amount of $38,700.00. People First is very sad to say that we are going to have to find other avenues to be able to continue advocacy in Ohio.  Our grant in the past was $109,000.00 so the difference is very large.  If anyone has any ideas or would like to help keep advocacy strong in Ohio, if you want to donate People First of Ohio, or ideas for fundraising we are very open to any ideas.  People First of Ohio Board of Directors want everyone to know that we have not given up on our mission and we will not let the voices of the advocates who have been learning to have their voices heard be silenced.  There are people and other organizations who believe in advocacy and what we do and are supporting us.
